The Credit Union is aware of the Pittsburgh Post Gazette announcement of the paper closing the doors in May of 2026. The Post Gazette Federal Credit Union is hosted by the Pittsburgh Post Gazette which means we are granted office space by the Pittsburgh Post Gazette in order to better serve their employees.
We are not owned by the Pittsburgh Post Gazette. The Post Gazette Federal Credit Union is an entirely separate business and is not tied to the paper other than membership. Our board of directors is assessing the situation and looking for alternative options at this time. Membership will be notified as soon as a definitive plan is is place.
The Post Gazette Federal Credit Union is a federally insured credit union and will continue to provide top rate services for all our members.
